The Benefits of Dispute Resolution Services
Lawsuits often cost thousands of dollars in legal fees and may not be resolved for years after filing the case, and the judgments become public record which can negatively impact the involved parties in many ways. Dispute resolution via mediation and arbitration gives parties a chance to save money, resolve their cases much more quickly, and keep their disputes private, thus avoiding consequences such as lowered credit scores, damaged business reputations, and issues with housing or job applications.
Mediation vs. Arbitration
Mediation is a formal meeting between disputing parties in which the mediator facilitates the discussion and negotiations in order to assist the parties in achieving a mutual resolution. Arbitration is a form of dispute resolution in which the arbitrator reviews the facts of a dispute and makes the decision for the details of its resolution. In other words, mediation allows for the parties to design their own agreement whereas arbitration yields the decision-making power to the arbitrator.
Pricing & Fees
We offer Half-Day and Full-Day sessions to avoid having parties feel rushed, and these may be held in person in the greater Houston area or online via Zoom. Should more time be needed, Half-Day sessions may be extended the same day for an hourly rate, or new sessions may be scheduled for a later date. All payments are due prior to the scheduled date of the session.
Half-Day Sessions
Half-day mediation/arbitration sessions allow for up to 4 hours of resolution time, but most simple cases only last for 1 hour. Booking a half-day will automatically set aside 4 hours for your case, but, should you need more time, you may extend the session for an additional hourly fee.
Full-Day Sessions
Full-day mediation/arbitration sessions allow for up to 8 hours of resolution time plus a 1-hour lunch break halfway through. These sessions are recommended for more complex cases. Additional sessions may be requested, but full days may not be extended hourly.

**Please note, divorce proceedings are charged the same as a Full-Day rate but do no exceed 4 hours per session due to the complexity of these cases.
Cancellation/Reschedule & Refund Policy
Cancellations and reschedules within 7 calendar days of your session will incur a fee of $200 per party.
